Late Thursday, the UK media reports as follows:

"Iran has issued another defiant message over its uranium enrichment programme. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said it would not retreat 'one iota' from its nuclear plans. The comments came after talks between Iranian officials and the head of the UN nuclear watchdog.

"International Atomic Energy Agency chief Mohamed ElBaradei is in Tehran to head off a looming confrontation between Iran and the UN Security Council."

The UN Security Council has reportedly given Iran until April 28th to come to its senses.
